ERP training & change management

Help your team get comfortable with the new system before it goes live. Train people on the tasks they’ll actually do, using your migrated data, and make sure those responsible for each process are ready to support them.

Role-based, on your dataSenior-led
The problem

Go-live fails when people route around the system

Even a well-built system has failed if people find ways to avoid using it. Resistance usually means more than reluctance to change. People struggle to adopt new ways of working when they’ve had no say in how those changes will affect their jobs.

What we do

How adoption gets built

  • Role-based trainingWarehouse learns warehouse; finance learns finance. Nobody sits through the other’s screens.
  • Your data, your scenariosSessions run on migrated records, so day one looks like the training room.
  • Process owners equippedThe people who will answer questions after we leave are trained deepest, and first.
  • Change communicationPeople hear what is changing and why before it changes.
  • Cheat sheets that surviveWe produce short, role-specific guides rather than a 200-page manual nobody opens.
  • Floor-walking at go-liveSupport stands next to people in week one, when it matters most.

The payoff

What managed change buys you

Day-one competence

People do their jobs on day one because they practised on their own data.

Questions with owners

Process owners field the everyday questions, so momentum survives our exit.

Shadow systems stay dead

When the system is understood, the spreadsheets don’t come back.

A go-live people talk up

Early wins spread by word of mouth, and a well-supported first week creates them.

How it works

How it runs

  1. Change mapping – we establish who is affected, how much and who influences whom.

  2. Owner enablement – process owners are trained early and in depth, so they become the in-house experts.

  3. Role-based sessions – sessions are short, practical, run on migrated data and scheduled close to go-live.

  4. Go-live support – floor-walking and quick answers build confidence in week one.

Good to know

What to know before you start

  • !Training can’t fix a bad design. If a process really is worse in the new system, people are right to resist it. We’ll flag design problems rather than train around them.
  • !Timing matters more than volume. Sessions run weeks before go-live are forgotten by cutover, so we schedule close to it, which needs cooperation from your calendars.
  • !Managers carry the change. If team leads visibly route around the system, no training survives it. Leadership alignment is part of the work.
  • !Change is scoped to the implementation. ERP change management is sized by how much the implementation shifts the operating model, not by headcount alone.
  • !Training and change are planned together. ERP training covers how to do the tasks; ERP change management prepares people for what is different about their role. We plan both from the first workshop, sized to how much the implementation changes each job – organisational change management done at the right scale.

ERP Training & Change Management FAQs

How much training does a NetSuite go-live need?
Less than you might fear, if it is role-based and well-timed. Typically it takes a few short sessions per role plus owner enablement, scheduled close to cutover.
Can you train our team on an existing NetSuite account?
Yes. Adoption rescue on live systems is common work for us, usually paired with fixing whatever made people avoid it.
Do you do train-the-trainer?
It is our default approach. Internal experts scale better than external ones, and they stay after we leave.
