NetSuite automation & development services

We take the repetitive middle out of your day-to-day processes. Simple workflows where clicks are enough, and senior SuiteScript development and customisation where they aren’t.

The problem

Manual steps are queues, and every queue has a Friday afternoon

Manual hand-offs are an error risk and they also cause delays. Tasks like orders waiting to be noticed and bills being retyped have been automatable for years. In McKinsey’s 2026 State of AI survey, eight in ten respondents say AI has improved their productivity – though only around a third see it in earnings yet. The real skill is choosing the right tool per job, then building it so it survives NetSuite’s two releases a year. Our work covers approval workflows, SuiteFlow and scheduled scripts, SuiteScript and Suitelet development, custom records and forms, reporting and dashboards, SuiteQL, document capture and AI.

The payoff

What NetSuite automation buys you

Hours back, every week

The keying, chasing and copy-paste steps disappear, and your team gets that time back every week.

The same process, every time

It runs identically whoever is on shift, because the rules live in the system rather than in someone’s head.

Errors caught at entry

Validation and rules stop mistakes where they’re free to fix.

An estate you own

Documented workflows and registered scripts, so you’re never dependent on whoever built them.

How it works

How we deliver NetSuite development services

Clicks before code: the discipline that keeps automation maintainable.

  1. Map the manual – the hand-offs, waits and workarounds written down as they really are.

  2. Challenge first – does standard NetSuite or a workflow already do this? Often, yes.

  3. Design on paper – the flow agreed and signed before anything is built.

  4. Build to standards – SuiteFlow where it’s enough; SuiteScript 2.1 where it genuinely isn’t.

  5. Test & hand over – proven on real scenarios, documented, release-tested twice a year.

Good to know

What to know before you start

  • !Automating a bad process makes it faster at being bad. If the process is wrong, we say so before wiring it in – sometimes redesign comes first.
  • !Scripts are an asset with a running cost. Every script needs an owner and release testing; we build the minimum that does the job, then stop.
  • !Some requests shouldn’t be code at all. A surprising number of development requests turn out to be things NetSuite can already do with the right configuration. Expect us to try clicks first.
Straight answers

NetSuite Automation FAQs

Workflow or script? How do you decide?
Capability, then maintainability: if SuiteFlow does it cleanly, it wins because your admin can maintain it. Scripts take the genuinely complex cases.
Can you fix automation someone else built?
Yes, often. Untangling and repairing another developer’s workflows and scripts is a service in its own right.
How much does NetSuite automation cost?
It depends on scope. A single approval workflow is usually days of work; a scripted process with integrations can run to weeks. We scope before we quote – see how we charge.
Will custom work survive NetSuite releases?
It’s built to survive them, and we test it every release cycle. That’s half the argument for the discipline above.
