What to know before you scope

!Applications for payment, retentions and CIS are not native. They are delivered through customisation and SuiteApps on top of the projects module. We arrive with a proven build pattern rather than working it out on your project.
!SuiteProjects and OpenAir are different editions. The choice affects features, licensing and any future migration. Decide it deliberately at the start, with the roadmap in view.
!Percentage-complete revenue needs discipline. The configuration is the easy half; timesheet compliance and realistic cost-to-complete estimates make the numbers reliable.
!Utilisation reporting reflects behaviour. If consultants do not book time weekly, no dashboard will make the metric accurate, so process design is part of the build.

Does NetSuite support applications for payment?

Not out of the box. We deliver AfP through a proven configuration and customisation pattern on the projects module, covering valuations, certifications and the ledger entries behind them.

SuiteProjects or OpenAir?

The choice depends on the depth of resource management you need, your existing licensing and where Oracle is investing. It affects your roadmap for years, so we treat it as a design decision with a written recommendation.

Can NetSuite handle CIS?

Yes, via configuration and third-party components, which cover deduction calculation, subcontractor verification data and the outputs HMRC filing needs. Native functionality alone does not get you there.
