NetSuite data cleansing & repair services
Rebuild trust in the numbers when the data went in wrong. By merging duplicates, reconciling balances and fixing the root cause, your team gets an account it can rely on without a disruptive re-implementation.
Data problems grow the longer they are left
A rushed migration or inconsistent working habits can leave duplicate records, mismatched balances and reports that need manual corrections. People stop trusting the figures and turn to spreadsheets, creating more versions of the data and more work to keep them in sync.
What repair involves
- Damage assessmentWe establish where the bad data is, how it got there and what it touches downstream.
- Duplicate resolutionCustomers, vendors and items are merged with transaction history intact.
- Balance reconciliationControl accounts are tied out and corrected with a documented audit trail.
- Import repairFailed loads are reversed or corrected in place, whichever damages less.
- Root-cause fixesThe habit or integration that created the problem is fixed as well.
- Validation guardrailsDuplicate detection and field rules are put in place so the problem cannot creep back.

What clean data buys you
Reports without asterisks
You get numbers people cite in meetings instead of caveating.
Faster closes
Reconciliation stops being archaeology.
Spreadsheets retired
When the system is trustworthy, the shadow copies can be retired.
The cause fixed, along with the symptoms
Because the source of the bad data is fixed, the corrections stay corrected.
How it runs
Assess – we profile the damage and trace the causes, usually in a week.
Plan – fix-in-place versus reverse-and-reload is decided per data set.
Repair – corrections are applied in controlled batches and reconciled as we go.
Guard – validation and process fixes keep the account clean.
What to know before you start
- !Sometimes reload beats repair. If a load is wrong enough, reversing and redoing it is cheaper than mending in place. We cost both options and show you the comparison.
- !Live accounts constrain the method. Fixing data people are transacting on needs sequencing and quiet windows; expect a plan, never a big bang.
- !History has hard limits. Some posted history can be corrected, some only annotated. We’re upfront about which is which before work starts.
- !Scope can cross systems. Where the same duplicates live in both systems, CRM data cleansing is sequenced alongside the NetSuite work so the sync doesn’t reintroduce the duplicates.
- !Repair includes the reason it happened. Every fix comes with the cause – a missing duplicate check, an import template, a permissions gap – and the small configuration changes that stop the same problem returning. That way the cleanse is a one-off project rather than an annual event.
- !File-by-file cleansing isn’t ERP repair. The data cleansing companies UK firms usually call first work spreadsheet by spreadsheet. NetSuite data lives in transactions, so repair means posting periods, GL impact and audit trails – the side of data cleansing services UK generalists tend to skip.
