ERP project review, analysis & diagnostic

Get a written verdict on what state your NetSuite project is really in, and what to do about it. We spend one to two weeks reviewing your NetSuite account, project plan and contract for a fixed price, so you can make decisions based on facts rather than conflicting accounts of what’s happened.

The problem

You can’t fix a problem you don’t fully understand

The reports say the project is manageable, the bills keep coming and your concerns remain. People involved may see things differently or struggle to give you the full picture. An independent diagnostic establishes what’s happening, what’s gone wrong and what needs attention first.

What we do

What the ERP project review examines

  • The buildConfiguration and customisation quality is assessed against NetSuite standards, separating what is sound from what is fragile.
  • The dataWe check the migration state, the reconciliation gaps and what is actually loaded versus what is claimed.
  • The planWe test the milestones, the burn rate and the credibility of the path to completion.
  • The decisionsWe establish what is stuck, why it is stuck and with whom.
  • The contract positionWe set out what has been paid for versus what has been delivered, in plain terms.
  • The peopleWe assess whether the right skills are on the project, on both sides.

The payoff

What the diagnostic buys you

Facts, in writing

A document you can put in front of a board, a partner or a lawyer.

A decision you can defend

Continue, remediate, switch or stop – with the evidence attached.

A stronger seat at the table

Renegotiations go differently when you know exactly what’s been delivered.

A capped window, agreed up front

The price and the window are agreed before we start, so the uncertainty ends on a date.

How it works

How it runs

  1. Access – we take read access to the account and project artefacts, and interviews are scheduled.

  2. Fieldwork – build review, data checks and plan analysis take one to two weeks.

  3. Verdict – you receive written findings, component verdicts and a recommended route.

  4. Walkthrough – we present it to whoever you choose, and take the hard questions.

Good to know

What to know before you start

  • !The verdict might be ‘carry on’. If the incumbent partner is doing a decent job, that’s what the report says. You’re paying for the truth, whichever way it points.
  • !We need genuine access. A diagnostic on partial information is a guess with a cover page; account access and candid interviews are prerequisites.
  • !Findings can be uncomfortable. Sometimes the blockage is on the client side. That goes in the report too, because fixing the wrong problem fixes nothing.
  • !Call it an audit if you prefer. An ERP project audit, assessment or evaluation is the same discipline here – evidence gathered independently, conclusions in writing, no remediation upsell.
Straight answers

Project Analysis & Diagnostic FAQs

Will the diagnostic upset our current partner?
Handled professionally, no – reasonable partners survive scrutiny fine. A partner who resists independent review is telling you something.
What do we get at the end?
A written report: findings, component-by-component verdicts, and a recommended path with indicative costs.
Is this the same as Project Assurance?
Assurance is ongoing oversight through a project; the diagnostic is a point-in-time deep read. Diagnostics often lead into assurance, or into recovery.
